I nominated 95-year-old George Lowrey as a baton carrier in the commonwealth Games Relay.  Not only was my entry successful but I facilitated his attendance at the event some 130 km away and arranged for a story in the local newspapers.
  • Marching in the local Anzac Day Parades several years running.
