The Person

  • Josh is an active member in both his school and wider-community, participating in many volunteer opportunities including: Clean Up Australia day for the last five years. He also has voluntarily visited the elderly in Tri-Care Nursing Homes and helped in the learn to swim pool, teaching 7-12 year olds how to swim.
  • Those who know Josh describe him as: determined, focused, having a self-disciplined approach and strong work ethic.
  • He is also a role model for younger student-athletes as he consistently models a positive attitude, clear focus, and unyielding work ethic that balances both swimming and his scholastic pursuits. As Captain of the School Swimming Team Josh was called upon to assist with team organisation, to lead the team and to make several public speeches.
